In the morning of August 7, 2023, H.E. SOU Socheat, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director General of the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), presided over the opening of the 25th Training and Examination and Continuing Professional Education in Securities Sector for Securities Firms, Firms doing CIS Business, Issuers, Firms doing Derivative Business, and Firms providing services in the securities sector.

In this occasion, H.E. Delegate emphasized that “Market Confidence is one of the key factors in promoting securities market development, therefore, all companies and those who doing business or providing services in the securities sector have to fulfill their obligations and roles in accordance with the regulatory framework, professionalism and good services to build and strengthen market confidence and drive our market growth even more; the development of the securities sector requires active participations of all stakeholders in the market.”

This training program has a total number of 195 participants (47 foreigners) and is divided into 6 groups with a duration of 6 days and the speakers are from the SERC, Cambodia Securities Exchange, Bursa Malaysia, Pestech (Cambodia) Plc, RHB Securities Plc, Gold Financial Global Investment Co., Ltd, B.I.C Market Co., Ltd. and Banjaran Asset Management (Cambodia) Plc.
